there are places by the highway

but there are small streets in small cities
where depression is extensive

even animals get stupid there
that's why you call them pets

and suddenly you find yourself
in a lovely bar
and people give you wine and beer
and show you where to park your car
and they are happy that you're not so loud
cause they have problems with the neighbours
and i think one day i'll write a song called
neighbours you can kiss my ass

and after the show
we're guided to a place
where you can roll out your sleepingbags
in a kind of private space
and we sing songs in the kitchen
by famous gitarreros
but we skip the famous parts
yeah we leave them to the heroes
and we talk about relationships
and how they never reach the harbour
and then we fall asleep
dreaming of a barbershop
